The menu is the artifact. The drinks earn it back.

Trick Dog has run themed menus twice a year since 2013 — a Pantone book, a horoscope, a Chinese takeout menu with the drinks numbered like combos. It reads as gimmick until you order. The gimmick is the packaging. The pours behind it are stirred, spec'd, and technique-forward in a way that most rooms with a fraction of the theater can't match.

Order the stirred column. Watch the pass. The ice is cut, the peels are expressed at the glass, and the bartender who hands you the drink can tell you every dilution figure in the build. That is a bar taking itself seriously in a room that has decided not to take itself seriously in public. Rare combination. Worth the walk.

One caveat: it fills up. Go early or go late — the middle is a wait, and the bar seats are the point.
